AmeriCorps at MACOG launched in fall 2022. Our cohorts serve by building capacity with a driving force of environmental stewardship and economic resilience to implement key strategies identified by local governments, non-profits, and other stakeholders in northern Indiana. Members may serve on a variety of impactful projects such as expanding broadband access, providing high quality childcare, improving local parks, increasing the effectiveness and economic benefits of community gardens.
National Service programs and employes should make employment and AmeriCorps member enrollment decisions strictly based on individual merit, qualifications, and demonstrated competencies. AmeriCorps at MACOG adheres to equal opportunity principles and selects candidates based on skills, experience, and position-related competencies.
