Heart City Rider
& Goshen Transit Service Administered by the Michiana Area Council of Governments |
Heart City Rider & Goshen Transit Service is a demand-response transit system that operates in Elkhart and Goshen 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is available to the general public. As a Heart City Rider & Goshen Transit Service rider you will be given a half-fare discount, up to $3.00 per user one-way trip, for curb to curb service in Elkhart and Goshen.
Nondiscrimination in the MACOG Public Transit Services - The Michiana Area Council of Governments agrees to operate Heart City Rider, Goshen Transit Service and the Interurban Trolley without regard to race, color, or national origin.

Heart City Rider & Goshen Transit Service is open to the general public!
Make sure to bring two forms of identification when you register. One of these must be an ID card with your picture. There is no cost to register as a rider. After you register you will receive a plastic identification card in the mail. Please keep this card with you at all times. You must present this card and a picture ID each time you ride to receive your discount.
What are the fares?
Fares are based on trip mileage. Half of your fare
will be paid by the Heart City Rider & Goshen Transit Service program, up to a $3.00 limit per one-way trip. Use
